Now, the name of this blog may suggest I’m some big global traveler of sorts. Not quite. However, I have been extremely blessed with opportunities to travel to a lot of amazing places in my 21 years. These places include most of the US’ major cities, several Caribbean islands, a handful of Mexican vacation spots, and even a bunch of a amazing European cities across France, Italy, and Spain.
The past year and a half or so, specifically, have been big for me in travel. I’ve had so much fun! If I never go anywhere again I would still be happy… BUT I work hard to make sure I can continue to see the world. While I love where I’m from, the Pretty Gorgeous Prince George’s can get mundane sometimes. As I grow more in touch with learning more about other cultures, I figured a blog would be an excellent way to capture what I’ve seen, where I’ve visited, and what I’ve learned. I also want to get more into photography, and this can be a good platform for displaying my photos.
Most of my time is spent here in Maryland where I live and go to school, and DC—the city I’ll always love—where I work. But I love getting away, adventuring, and exploring. Who doesn’t? So here’s where I can come back and look on to years from now to remember my time spent out of MD. Granted, most of my trips occur in the US (for no particular cultural reason), but I hope to venture overseas more and more with the years to come.
I should have created this thing ages ago, but it’s never too late. I have a lot of catching up to do!! I’m going to go back in time and recount some of my best and most well-remembered experiences…starting with my best trip yet, my 3 week advenure in Europe last year!
